Amy began her exploration of yoga 7 years ago after attending a Bikram Yoga class that soon after, led her to the dynamic style of Vinyasa Flow offered in Sydney’s CBD. After experiencing such a profound personal transformation, Amy decided to complete her first 350 hours of Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at InYoga in 2016. Her devotion for yoga and meditation has been deeply inspired by teachers such as Nicole Walsh, Rod Galbraith and Persia Juliet.
Amy offers an embodied yoga experience that invites her students to cultivate a deeper connection to the essence of who they really are. Amy encourages her students to dance with their unique edge, and is passionate about providing a nurturing space to discover freedom in being our raw, human self. Amy invites the inquiry into a life changing experience that has offered her such a powerful connection to herself and her community.
Amy discovered yoga during an incredibly sensitive and challenging time in her life, and realised what a sacred place yoga held in her heart. Yoga connected Amy to her true essence and intuition where she found creative expression, clarity and strength through the evolution of her practice. After training to become a Yoga teacher, she felt empowered to let go of her successful marketing career in technology, sell her house and pursue her passion to serve others with the timeless wisdom of yoga.

HIGA was born, as a collaboration with my dear friend and hiking guide Jodi Shoobert, to provide you with an experience of soaking up natures gifts, over the course of a few hours rather than a full weekend or overnight stay. The intention of this 2.5-3 hour journey is to guide you back into your body, and to connect once again to natures elements, so you can go back into your day feeling calm, centred and expansive.
Location: Royal National Park, Loftus
